Emails and evening briefs

Insieme does not keep information locked in a register: it brings it home. One email a day, at the right moment, and nothing more.

The 8 PM brief

Every evening, in the organization's time zone, reference contacts and collaborators receive an email with tomorrow's program: activities, outings, meals, tasks.

The time follows the organization's time zone, daylight saving included: nothing to configure, and delivery never drifts when the clocks change.

The brief is only sent when there is something to tell: a day with no commitments generates no useless emails.

  • Reference contacts: tomorrow's program for linked people, in plain language.
  • Collaborators: the group list with commitments and operational notes.
  • Delivery between 8 PM and 9 PM, organization local time.

Important announcements

Besides the evening brief, announcements marked as important on the board arrive by email immediately: schedule changes, closures, urgencies.

All other announcements stay on the board and in the portal: reference contacts do not get an email for every single notice.

Where they come from

Emails are sent from brief@insieme.care, with the service's verified domain (DKIM and SPF signatures). It is the same address for every organization.

If an email does not appear in the inbox, check the spam folder and mark the sender as trusted: new domains need to build their reputation.

Addresses that no longer exist

If an email bounces permanently — a deleted address, a full mailbox — Insieme automatically pauses sending for that person and reports the reason to staff.

No delivery resumes until someone in the organization updates the address: this way the organization never ends up on blocklists because of an old list.

  • Automatic pause after a permanent bounce.
  • Reason visible to staff in the person's profile.
  • Fixing the address is enough to resume delivery.

Privacy

A reference contact's brief only talks about linked people they are authorized to see: no shared lists, no addresses visible to other reference contacts.

Emails contain no expiring access links or fragile tokens: what is private stays in the app, behind an account.
